The thing

An adventurous young troll...

"Hey Aradia, glad you could make it." You say

"Hell0 (y/n) it's s0 g00d t0 see y0u t0night." Aradia replies with a smile on her face.

"S0 what is it that we're watching?" Aradia asks

"An old movie known as John carpenter's the thing from another world." You reply

"C00l, what's it going to be about?" Aradia asks

"Researchers in an Antarctic outpost, stuck with an infectious shapeshifting alien." You reply

"The tv guide says all 0f that?" Aradia asks

"I've actually seen it a couple times." You reply blushing

"Well, y0ur earth m0vies will be a new thing t0 me." Aradia says

"Let's get some snacks before it starts officially." You say

You head into the kitchen while Aradia waits in the living room as the movie begins.

You return to the living room with an armful of snacks.

"Is s0me 0f that f0r me?" Aradia chuckles

"Yeah sure." You joke back

You sit down and begin to watch the opening scene where the infected sled dog runs through the Antarctic wastelands with the Norwegians not being able to land a shot.

"Why are they sh00ting at that husky beast?" Aradia asks

"You'll find out." You reply

Aradia watches intently as the movie plays, she soon finds out why the Norwegians were firing at the husky. Right after the dog turns into the dog blob.

"Ever see anything like that on Alternia?" You ask

"N0, never in my life and unlife." Aradia replies

The movie plays out and the researchers get infected. Then there's the blood test scene. That scene always gets you.

"Why are they pressing h0t c0ils 0n their bl00d?" Aradia asks

"Well you see, every part of the thing is sentient to it's own degree."You reply

"Even it's bl00d?" Aradia asks

"Especially the bl-" you were cut off when the blood screams and jumps out of the dish.

You grab hold of Aradia's hand and hold tightly as the infected researcher begins to mutate.

"That part always gets me." You say

Aradia smiles and then you realize that you were still clutching her hand.

"Uh...sorry." You say

"It's all fine." Aradia chuckles

The movie plays out and eventually Macready and Childes  are left. And then that question hangs, who's really left?

"Is that it?" Aradia asks

"Well, there's a game and a comic that tie up the loose ends to some degree." You reply

"There's a game and c0mic?" She asks

"Yeah, not really good ones." You reply.

"Well n0 0ne's at my hive, what say I spend the night?"

"Sure, I guess." You reply

"You can have my bed, I guess." You say

"Well, that's fine." Aradia says

Well you two pretty much spend the next four hours on the monster movie marathon.

Then Aradia heads for your room, leaving you with the movies by yourself.

As you watch fiend without a face you have an ungodly need to evacuate.

As you head to the bathroom. You have that unrelenting feeling of being watched.

You hear a thump to the ground not to mention some groaning. You watch as a shape lurches out of your room and heads towards you.

You barely had time to react as the creature collapses on you, causing you to cry out.

"No, not like this! I've survived sburb, but this?"

The creature leans towards your face, you close your eyes and wait. When you feel the lips on your own. You open to see a smiling  Aradia."You watch too much scary movies." She chuckles.

"You scared me." You say

"I sure did." Aradia says

"So are we going to be a couple now?" You ask

"Well we did just have a moment, a g00d m0ment. Plus I d0 like y0u." Aradia replies

"S0, why n0t?"
