It was another Friday, the day you could see her...
As your manager let you off of your register, you made your way out of the supermarket and headed straight for the local bakery. Now it was just running through the motions once you pushed open the door to the bakery.

Your sneakers squeaked lightly on the checkered tile as you grabbed a Borden brand chocolate milk from out of the fridge and headed for the counter. The head baker and owner of the bakery smiled again.
She says through her dimpled smile, "it's almost like clockwork, every Friday."
"Well you know me, I just can't get enough of your yellow cake." You reply
She chuckles "oh (y/n) I can always count on offloading all of my sweets on you." Jane says
"Well, you always make the best cakes and pies." You say through your beating heart.
"You're so sweet." Jane says
"Not as sweet as your sweets." You reply
"Same always?" Jane asks
"You know it?" You reply
"Coming right now." Jane says as she gets a slice of (favorite sweet)
She retrieves a plate and hands it to you. You immediately head to your usual spot. In a slight obscured part of Jane's bakery.
As you take a forkload of (favorite sweet) to your mouth you prepare for the electric overload of flavor that could only be brought on by Jane's culinary arts.
The bite is a big bang in your mouth, the delicious moist texture of the sweet was just perfect, solid, flaky, and goes down like poetry.

Your heart was beating like a drum, the young baker had taken your heart and filled it with love and culinary masterpieces. If it was a bakes good it was always a masterpiece.
Bundt cake, raspberry pie, pan de juevo, gingerbread pigs, tea cakes, and chocolate tarts.
It was only natural that you fell in love with the young baker. Her cute smile and those pretty blue eyes of hers behind those wire frame glasses, and that adorable laugh of hers. That very presence lightened up your decrepit life.
You were kind of a brooding character, a fixed scowl on your face a hostile personality, and near beastial anger.
You hardly had a friend to call your own in this town. Yet she was the only one who could see past all of that and touch your heart.
Jane Crocker is and will forever be the light of your life. And you were going to make her yours, but in the most gentle way.
Your fork clattered on the plate
"Can I get you another?" Jane asked
"Well there is something that you could get me." You reply
"What could you possibly want?" She asks
You walk to the counter
Your eyes met and your heart once again beat like a drum

"W-what is it?" She asks
"Jane, I'm going to be honest with you. I've been coming here very Friday for the past year for two reasons." You say
"Oh, and what could that be?" Jane asks
"One, all of the sweets in this store. Jane your a true artist when it comes with your sweets."
"And your second reason?" Jane asks
"Only the sweetest treat in the whole store." You reply
Jane was silent, in pondering what you had just said, and then she blushed
"Oh my." Jane says "you don't possibly mean me, do you?"
You nodded
"Well (y/n) I'll be honest with you, I too developed a crush over you for the past while. And while you did scare me at first. Once I really learned about you, I was really glad to know you. And I was always counting on you to come and visit every Friday." Jane says
"So do you want to see a movie this weekend?" You asks
Jane pulled you in by your collar and planted a sweet kiss on your lips.
"I'd love to."
"I'll be ready at seven, I hope to see you then." She says
And like that, your relationship with Jane began

A yawn.
Then another.
And another still.
...
"(Name), are you alright? Tired?"
You (happily) tore your face away from the book you we're 'reading', more like watching to look at you fine friend, Good Ol' Jane Crocker. She was an awesome friend; nice, sweet, quite cunning. Plus she could bake, the perfect wife.
A rather creepy smile appeared on your face.
"Yeah, I'm fine and not at all tired. Well not more tired than usual."
"You're yawning quite a bit, are you still ill?"
You smiled, so caring, so cute. Oh, that creepy smile was back. Could you please stop thinking lecherous thoughts.

You were on your way to one of your best friends house, wait, who are you kidding! She was your best best friend, the best of the best friends. Just a tad... Oh who are you kidding you had the biggest crush on her ever since you two met. "Ah, finally arrived". You knocked on her door. No response. You knocked again but the door opened before You could knock. Jane opened the door "hi ___!" She said, hugging you. "Hey Jane" you said hugging back. "Come in! I'm

You watched Jane play detective out in the back yard, her dirty detective-looking hat almost falling off as she ran and had to hold it in place. A magnifying glass was gripped firmly in her hand, as she galloped around in search of puzzles and mysteries.
You poured a cup of (tea/coffee) and set it on the table in front of Dad Crocker, who was reading the newspaper.
He gave you a polite nod, while saying, "Thanks, dear. I needed this."
The clock struck twelve o'clock, and it was a lazy Sunday.
You wouldn't have to pack Jane's school lunch until later, so you had nothing of importance to do. Normally, you and Mr. Crocker would make dinner to
